Monthly School Improvement Webinars

In 2008 the Nine Characteristics of High Performing Schools, a meta-analysis of the research on high performing schools conducted by the Washington Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, was adopted as a cornerstone of the Idaho School Improvement Framework.  We wish to recognize and thank the state of Washington for their willingness to share resources and support Idaho during the development of our statewide system of support.

In order to provide professional development on the nine characteristics to educational leaders around the state, a webinar series was launched in partnership with the Idaho State Department of Education, the Boise State University Center for School Improvement and Policy Studies, and the Idaho Digital Learning Academy.  Each month during the 2008-2009 school year a webinar was provided on a topic related to one of the nine characteristics.

Archived recordings of the webinar presentations can be accessed on the IdahoLive tab of the Idaho Digital Learning Academy website at:  http://idla.blackboard.com.
