Focusing on the relentless pursuit of improving learning for students, the Creating High Performance Schools initiative challenges schools and school districts in Idaho to strategically design  innovations that will result in improvements in students achievement, dropout rates, school readiness, stakeholder satisfaction and student preparedness for their future.  The initiative is designed to improve the performance and productivity of the core business of a school, that is, the design and delivery of defined curriculum and effective instruction and the measurement of learning.
