Financial Fitness for Life

Several recent studies suggest that America’s youth need a financial workout. In partnership with the National Council on Economic Education and the Bank of America Foundation, the Center annually presents Financial Fitness for Life. These free workshops provide parents of K-12 students with a personal-finance curriculum and coaches them to talk with their children about earning an income, spending, saving and investing, using credit, managing money, and making financial decisions. This training provides a foundation that can prevent poor financial decisions that often take years to overcome.
