Together in Excellence: Paraprofessional
Training Academy
“Together in Excellence: Paraprofessional
Training” offers paraprofessionals a professional development
program designed to ensure that they have the skills to best
assist each student with whom they work.
For the past three years, the Center for School
Improvement & Policy Studies has partnered with the Boise School
District to develop and offer this program to nearly 700 of
their Special Education, Title One, English Language Learner and
Library paraprofessionals. Our trainers are leaders in their
fields selected from universities,
school districts and the private sector. They deliver trainings
that meet the “Idaho Standards for Paraprofessionals” and help
districts meet heightened state and federal guidelines for
paraprofessional qualifications.
