Together in Excellence: Paraprofessional
Training Academy
The Academy
sessions for 2008-2009 school year have been canceled.
A professional development
program designed for paraprofessionals to ensure that they have the skills to best
assist each student with whom they work.
Curriculum is based to the
principles outlined in the "Idaho Standards for
Paraprofessionals". Academy instructors are leaders in their
fields selected from universities,
school districts and the private sector. They deliver trainings
that meet the “Idaho Standards for Paraprofessionals” and
assist school
districts to meet heightened state and federal
paraprofessional qualifications/guidelines.
