The Professional Learning Project

Implementing instructional strategies that support students in poverty is a Center for School Improvement & Policy Studies partnership with Weiser, Midvale and Payette School Districts. Teachers in the first five years of teaching  attend a full-day of professional learning each month. The cornerstone of the project is professional reflection to improve instructional expertise. Participants explore research-based strategies, tools, and writing to support higher order learning and student engagement.
